About Us

Kungoso International is an environmental education center. Its 14 acres property is in a state of conservation for over fifteen years. Its activities and programs are focused on conservation, education and recreation. Camp Kungoso is located in the Republic of Mali, just outside the District of Bamako, in the village of Tièguena on the national hightway number six going towards Ségou at about 18 km from the tower of Africa.

Our Location

Camp Kungoso is located in the Village of Tieguena, at about 15 Km in the outskirt of Bamako on the route of Segou.

From Bamako get on the National Route 6 that goes toward Segou. Pass the Custom control of Nyamana commonly called the exit of Bamako toward Segou.

From the custom you are exactly 7 km from the exit to the Camp Kungoso. Drive pass the exit to Mountougoula, located in Dialakorobougou. Keep driving pass the site of the new Industrial zone. You will go through the Village of Tieguena on both sides of the road.

Soon after you drove pass the village of Tieguena, look on your right for Camp Kungoso's sign. Turn on the on path right after the sign. it will take you to the campground.
